40 years, 40 movies

So I am 40. Not big deal.

But seeing that I never celebrate it I kinda feel like I should do something..I don’t know.

In the meantime, I have wanting to do a personal project about movie-watching. Why? because is fun why not?Last year I tried to do  a “Netflix movie a week” project but family issues drained any excitment about it.

So I have been thinking what could be fun and interesting to do and I thought why not watch movies that are as old as I?

The idea is to watch 40 movies: one for each year since I born to 2017. Starting from 1977. Yeah some of those movies I have watched but what the heck? besides there are others I haven’t.

What movies from each year? I don’t know. There are a lot. I guess that making a poll on twitter or facebook would be a very good idea. I’ll watch them in Netflix, from my DVD collection if I have it or *ahem* the internet :P. I would rent them but there are no video clubs around anymore After watching each movie I’ll give a personal short opinion about it.

So the years will be divided like this:

January: 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980

February:1981, 1982, 1983, 1984

March:1985, 1986, 1987

April: 1988, 1989, 1990

May:1991, 1992, 1993

June:1994,1995,1996

July:1997,1998,1999,2000

August:2001, 2002, 2003, 2004

September:2005, 2006, 2007

October:2008, 2009, 2010

November:2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

December: 2015, 2016, 2017

I’ll watch every movie on sunday night but on saturday  I’ll ran the poll and in 24 hrs the one with more votes will be the selected one.
